When you get to the marker, run under that boat-walkway to the far end, & wait there, shooting at any cops as & when they come. So, on your way there, keep your distance from the cops, if they get far behind though, slow down, it is better to wait for them to catch you up slightly instead of moving quickly towards the next set of cops in front.Ī good tactic for getting rid of cops behind you is to slow down almost to a stand-still, drop a grenade or two, & then slowly go forward, this ensures that the cops stay in the grenade area long enough for it to hit them. There are also pillars here that you can use for cover). (At that location there is a boat-walkway with a hole in it, if you walk under here to the end you can't be shot at by the helicopter, the cops can't get to you as easily, & they will only be coming at you from the front, as there is a wall behind you. Now set your way point marker to the bottom-right corner of the top-right island on the map. (With a cop car you can fit in the gap so that you save time by just driving forward as soon as you get the 6 star wanted level). Reverse the cop car into the far left gap until you get a 6 star wanted level. There will be cops there behind some road blocks & gaps in between the blocks. Go to the bridge on the far left of the map, that links the islands together. (now your save file will have all the above ready for re-trying if you fail to survive the 5 minutes on a 6 star wanted level). Now get some health, an assault rifle or smg, some grenades, & armor.
To do this method, you need to have unlocked South Bohan (top right of map), but not the far left area of the map (you need it to be roadblocked to get a 6 star wanted level quickly & easily). Copy and paste carcols.dat, handling.dat, and vehicles.ide into your GTAIV/common/data/ folder, replacing the original files.This is an easier way to survive 5 minutes on a 6 star wanted level to unlock the "One Man Army" Achievement. Select all the files in the "Install into vehicles.img" folder and press open.Ĥ. Once vehicles.img is opened inside of OpenIV enable Editing mode, then press the Add New Files button.
Use OpenIV to navigate to the vehicles.img file inside your GTAIV/pc/models/cdimages/ folder.ģ. Vehicles created by Matt Hayes AKA unopescio AKA onepiece 2007-2020Ģ. Its slightly incomplete yes, but this mod will still give you 34 high quality classic GTAIII and Vice City cars to rip around the HD universe in. This mod is a collection of my High Quality/HD GTA3 cars converted by various people over the years, most of these files have been sitting unseen and unloved in a corner of my backup HDD for years, hopefully the old saying better late than never is true and people get some enjoyment out of this pack.
